Robin grew up in Norway until he was 15 years old and then moved to the United States where he has made Texas his home. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Aspire Recovery. Robin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and an Alumni of Texas Tech University. He has extensive knowledge of all levels of treatment through his varying experiences working in the field of addiction and mental health services.

With 17 years experience in the field of substance abuse and mental health treatment, Robin possesses a deep understanding of treatment and the recovery process. Before Robin founded one of the Leading Addiction Treatment organizations in the region, he struggled with his own addiction for nearly 10 years. Personal experience, excellent clinical training, and a passion to help others, makes Robin a very effective part of the Aspire Programs.

When Robin isn't running the administrative division of Aspire Recovery, you will find him facilitating groups, meeting with clients for individual therapy, talking to families, taking clients on outings, and getting his hands dirty in every aspect of Aspire. It isn't uncommon for Robin to have stacks of clinical books on his desk that he is constantly reading and trying to improve our programming. Aspire staff joke about not getting comfortable because Robin is always pushing Aspire to change, grow, and improve.

This man does not stop there! He also enjoys spending his free time with his beautiful wife and co-owner of Aspire, Erin Casey and his sweet daughter. He is an animal lover and proud owner of two cats and a dog. He enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking on the grill and watching movies. Although he has experienced his share of pain and loss, he helps people laugh loud, smile bright and learn that life beyond addiction is amazing. His passion is sharingthat true recovery is filled with happiness and laughter and strives to help those in need find it.
