Erin Casey LCDCi
My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.
In a lot of ways Erin is the Heart and Soul of Aspire Recovery Centers. She is funny, energetic, charismatic, and has never met a stranger. She also has a passion to help others that isn't easily matched. Those attributes along with being fearless and hard working helped build Aspire Recovery.
Erin was born in Carbondale, Illinois. At a young age she and her family moved to Sherman, Texas where she grew up. Her parents were college professors so she grew up learning the value of helping others. Unfortunately after high school Erin began struggling with drugs and alcohol until her family eventually brought her to Lubbock Texas in 2000 to seek residential treatment.
This is where everything changed. Erin began thriving in the Lubbock Recovery Community. She eventually became employed at the same treatment center where she had gone and began taking classes to become a counselor. Along the way she had also met her future husband Robin Casey. In 2008 they decided to take a risk and open their own Sober Living called Choices. This was Erin's true calling. She left her job at the Detox center and also left school to run sober living full time. Over the next 10 years Aspire grew into multiple other programs that she helped every step of the way.
Now Erin oversees the operations of Aspire sober living programs with the help of multiple house managers and staff. Her days of working 24/7 have gone and she is now able to also enjoy her wonderful life in Recovery.
Erin loves being a mother. She has three beautiful children Lauren 11, Christopher 25, and Mary Hanna 18. She has wonderful relationships with each of them and spends as much time with them as possible. She also loves her dog Tiny, and two cats, Chewy and BeeBee. Erin has been happily married to Robin Casey for 12 years and has very close relationships with her parents, sister, and mother-in-law. Family is everything to Erin. That includes both her biological and her recovery family. She spends every hour of every day working to brighten the lives of both.
